Mediator
Charlotte Eyre, family and community mediator
Mediation is a fast and cost-effective way of resolving a dispute. Choosing to resolve issues out of court empowers people to put their future in their own hands and make decisions that are right for them and their families.
Based in South Croydon, I am a trained family mediator registered with the Family Mediation Council and have significant experience helping people resolve both child arrangements and financial disputes.
When a breakdown occurs in a relationship the fall-out can be stressful and hard. I offer a calm, pragmatic and professional approach to mediation and help participants feel comfortable, heard and understood.

Resolving Family Disputes
The court process is expensive and can be traumatic for families. By coming to mediation, people can make their own decisions about what the future should look like for them and their families.
When children are involved, I help people put their children’s happiness at the forefront of any discussions.
Bringing People Together
In cases of community or neighbourhood disputes, a mediator can help all voices be heard and reduce problems such as harassment, verbal abuse and anti-social behaviours.
Sometimes different generations fall out. Whether the argument is between a parent and a teenager, or a young person and a grandparent, a mediator will provide a safe space where everyone can express their needs and find a way of moving forward.
Benefits of Mediation
Mediators never take sides. We help people collaborate and find arrangements that suit them and their families or communities.
Resolving a dispute through mediation is significantly cheaper than going to court. It is also a speedier process and mediation sessions can be arranged quickly.
In mediation we look forward, not back, and encourage open and honest communication that leads to future-focused solutions.
